Boston Celtics Daily Dish: Throwing Back and Looking Ahead

Welcome to Thursday, Boston Celtics nation!

I bet you all got a chance to look at the 2014-2015 NBA schedule that was released yesterday.  If you did, you probably already have a feel for some of the games that are worthy of being circled on your calendar; if not, here’s ten (or so) games you might want to consider.

(Just so you know, none of those games involve the Boston Celtics.  Just sayin’.)

If you want a quick preview of the Boston Celtics’ schedule, why not read Jay King’s thoughts over at Masslive.com?   He’ll tell it to you straight, man: the Celtics’ schedule opens with a kick to the nuts!

Man: we have not even seen one preseason game yet, and already there are rookies who are waving red flags.   Well, according to Bleacher Report, that is, so be warned.

So now that I’ve fulfilled the “looking ahead” portion of my post, let’s do some throwing back!  I’ve always been a Boston Celtics fan, but when it come to teams on the West Coast, the Seattle Supersonics were the team I followed the most closely.  Take a look at what two former Sonics players are up to nowadays: Detlef Schrempf, and Dale Ellis.

I’ll end today’s links with some more looking ahead, with another preview of the Boston Celtics’ 2014-2015 schedule . . . including the team’s odds of winning an NBA championship?  How long does it take to come up with zero?!?
