Boston Celtics fans, I don’t mean to alarm you . . . but the entire NBA and everyone who gets paid to cover it has lost their minds.
And you all know who is to blame for this madness: Kevin Love.
Once Love made it clear that he was not willing to remain in Minnesota for another season, the sharks have been circling the waters, pouncing on any rumor that floats by. Lately, there’s plenty for the sharks to feed on, since rumors seem to surface by the second. I don’t endorse all of these rumors, but for those of you who wish to be up-to-the-minute, here’s the latest!
First, we’ll start with the Tweet of the day that perfectly illustrates the madness that is the Kevin Love sweepstakes:
Report: Nuggets offering Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried, and Arron Afflalo (through trade) for Kevin Love http://t.co/SRMiaqD0fY … Weird

That’s right: Denver is willing to give up one of the few players it has the Love might actually enjoy playing with – Kenneth Faried! I’m sure Love would want to stay in Denver after on season, right?
Now – remember yesterday, when word on the street was that the Boston Celtics may have had the best offer for Love? That didn’t last very long, now did it?
Sources say Celtics’ offer for Kevin Love not among three best. GSW, Chi, Den in the hunt. My story: http://t.co/RggtinZ07H

Though recent reports speculated that the Celtics could offer the Minnesota Timberwolves the most attractive package of players and draft picks for All-Star forward Kevin Love, league sources told the Globe Wednesday that other teams can and are expected to offer more enticing deals.
“They’re not even in the top three,” one league source said of the Celtics.
So Denver now appears to be a front-runner . . . but Golden State’s name is popping up in the top three candidates, as well. For a look at what a package from the Warriors could look like, I’ll send you over to FanSided’s Blue Man Hoop site.
All Love-d out? Me too, so I’ll leave you today with a dose of the rumors surrounding who the Boston Celtics are going to use their first-round picks on in the upcoming draft. Ah, sanity!
