NBA Daily Links: Sunday, February 23, 2014

Morning morning, NBA fans!

I have small confession to make: Sundays bum me out.  Sure, they are still usually a day off from work, but no matter what I do on a Sunday, i can’t shake the feeling of knowing that I have to go back to work tomorrow.  It’s the opposite of Thursday, the day of the week that I’ll stay up way later than I should because I know the weekend is only hours away.

Wouldn’t it be something if every day was just a day off?  The animal kingdom has it good, folks.

Anyway, now that my weird tangent is over, time for the links!

It was another busy night in the NBA last night, with eight games taking place.  Get your scores, recaps, and video highlights here.  [NBA.com]

Might as well stick around and get your game previews, too, since there are eight more games scheduled today.  [NBA]

And while I’m sending all of you over to the NBA site, check out this piece on the future of Kevin Love, who posted his first career triple-double last night.  [NBA]  Dare to dream, Boston fans!

Hey – here’s another piece about Love! [Sports Illustrated]

Since ESPN has not gotten around to writing the Daily Dime this morning, I’ll gift you the Top Plays, instead!  [ESPN]

Instead of the Dime, you’ll have to settle for 7 Takeaways from all the action last night.  [Bleacher Report]

Even though there were only a few deals made at the NBA trade deadline, there are still plenty of players who could get traded who have a lot to prove.  Check it out.  [b/r]

And your Boston Celtics link of the day focuses on Kris Humphries’ battle with DeMarcus Cousins last night.  [Masslive.com]  Hump’s awesome; Cousins, not so much.

Enjoy the reads, everyone!
