NBA Daily Edition: Manic Monday Edition

Happy Monday, everyone!

We’re almost there: Christmas Eve is tomorrow, followed by Christmas Day itself.  Of course, if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you’ll accept my apologies for going on and about Christmas, but it’s a big deal where I come from, and we’re super excited!

So excited, as a matter of fact, that I’m presenting you with a MEGA dose of NBA links today!  Strap in: coming at ya!

There were only three games in the NBA last night, so getting caught up should be a piece o’cake!  []

The East is starting to represent a bit more in this week’s Power Rankings.  [NBA]  Be sure you check out my piece on the Atlantic Division later today!!!

How do the Sports Illustrated Power Rankings jive with those of the NBA?  Find out!  [Sports Illustrated]

Speaking of power . . . who is the best power forward in the NBA today?  [Bleacher Report]  And could any of these guys go to toe-to-toe with Karl “The Mailman” Malone when he was in his prime?  That’s what I want to know!

Could it be that the NBA is thinking of ditching the draft lottery format?  [b/r]

Michael Jordan and the folks in Charlotte want to re-energize the fanbase.  Will bringing the Hornet back be the first step this team needs?  [Sporting News]

They aren’t the power rankings . . . they are the Hollinger rankins!  [ESPN]  I’ll be referring to these later today, so pay attention!

I normally give you a Boston Celtics-specific link, so how about today I give you three?  Here’s one that focuses on Jared Sullinger’s thoughts on where the Cs should head from here [] . . .

. . . here’s one on Indiana’s Roy Hibbert’s thoughts on – yep – Jared Sullinger [b/r] . . .

. . . and here is your final Boston Celtics link, which points out that the Celtics have a nice, much-needed break in the action this week.  [ESPN]

Hope you enjoyed the reads, everyone!!!
