On a Sunday afternoon, no less, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics are back at work on this deal. The Clippers reportedly called today and offered the Celtics a future first round draft choice. The two sides are reportedly nearing an agreement.

This is something that we’ve heard all through the past few weeks. First it was Eric Bledsoe, then it was a first round pick, then the NBA was going to deny transaction, then the Clippers backed off of giving up a pick.

Now it seems that both sides want to get this done. Either Chris Paul really wants to be coached by Doc Rivers or Rivers really wants out of Boston. Either way, this deal is back on–for now. We’ll see what comes from this. As more updates circulate we will have more.
