Boston Celtics Daily Dish: Back To School Edition

Morning, Celtics Nation!  Welcome to Hump Day!

It’s the first day back to school where I live, hence my lame, 100% unoriginal title!  I promise to try harder next time.

For now, I’m going to try and give bored students everywhere something interesting to read to keep them from daydreaming in class!

Don’t call it a comeback!  Kobe Bryant might not want you to view his 2014-2015 season as a comeback, but that’s just wishful thinking.  Check out which players will be hoping to enjoy successful comebacks this year along with the Black Mamba himself.

Team USA plays the Dominican Republic this afternoon. I’ll get a preview up shortly, but I just wanted to provide this friendly reminder:

Only 38?  Well, the team has already qualified for the knockout round, so maybe they’ll take it easy on Francisco Garcia and company.

You who is not taking it easy on the opposition so far in the FIBA World Cup?  Spain.   Read about how the Gasol brothers and company dismantled Brazil, and realize that this team is a legitimate threat to beat Team USA in the championship game.

As a matter of fact, here’s a piece that argues maybe Spain, not Team USA, should be the favorites to bring home gold this summer.

Last but not least, here’s a video Jay King put together for Bleacher Report detailing possible trade scenarios for the Boston Celtics’ Rajon Rondo.

Yep – all season long, folks.

Thanks!
