Boston Celtics fans won’t have to wait long to see at least two of the team’s 2025 NBA Draft picks in action. Amari Williams, Max Shulga, and perhaps Hugo Gonzalez (the Celtics aren’t sure if he’ll be suiting up just yet) will be headed to the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas next month.

Fans can now mark their calendars as the Celtics' official schedule for the annual event was released Friday afternoon. Their summer circuit will feature the following games:

  • July 11 at 4 p.m. EDT vs. the Memphis Grizzlies
  • July 13 at 5:30 p.m. EDT vs. the New York Knicks
  • July 14 at 8 p.m. EDT vs. the Miami Heat
  • July 17 at 9 p.m. EDT vs. the Los Angeles Lakers

Who's playing for the Celtics at the Las Vegas Summer League?

So far, it’s known that Williams, who Boston drafted 46th, and Shulga, who they took 57th, will be playing in Vegas. Brad Stevens told reporters on Wednesday that he was unsure if Gonzalez, Boston’s 28th overall pick, would be there, but the team hopes he will be.

“Just a big fan of how he plays,” Stevens said of Gonzalez’s game. “He’s tough, he’s hard playing, he cuts, he goes after the ball, he competes. He’s got all the intangibles of a winning basketball player.”

Returning players like Baylor Scheierman, Jordan Walsh, Drew Peterson, and Miles Norris will all likely be headed out with the rookies for another go at Summer League.

In addition, the Celtics have reportedly signed Penn State forward Zach Hicks, Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg, and St. John’s guard Aaron Scott to exhibit-10 deals to join their summer squad.

Will the Summer Cs be facing off against any exciting prospects?

Those matchups will not only give fans a glimpse at the newest members of the Celtics, as well as returning young players, but will also feature several prospects who were in Boston’s range heading into this week’s draft.

Memphis will roll out a squad featuring Cedric Coward and Javon Small, who both worked out with the Celtics before the draft. Kasparas Jakucionis will be with Miami, after Boston reportedly had interest in a trade-up to draft him. Though he wasn’t ever connected to the Celtics, now-Lakers forward Adou Thiero was projected within their range and could’ve been their second-round selection.

All four matchups will serve as a great introduction to the newest class of Celtic talent.
