Boston Celtics Daily Dish: Tickets, Throwbacks, and Throwdowns!

Boston Celtics fans – are you ready?

Time to start charging up your credit cards!  I’m looking over the schedule and trying to pick a date that will work for me and the fam – can’t wait!

Here’s a neat little Throwback Thursday moment, featuring one of the best buzzer-beating throwdowns in NBA history!  And it involves the Boston Celtics, no less!

I understand that Paul George’s injury forced a lot of people to wonder if playing for Team USA in non-Olympics competition is worth it – but there is a flip-side to the story.  Some players actually stand to gain a lot from playing in the FIBA World Cup – here’s a look at which Team USA players could benefit the most from this experience.

There is not much doubt that the Boston Celtics will be improved next season – but have they done enough to make the Most Improved Teams list over at Bleacher Report?  Read to find out!

Just don’t get too excited.

Finally, just in case you Boston Celtics fans weren’t feeling good about yourselves today, check out what what one of the NBA’s best all-time referees, Dick Bavetta, had to say about the crowds at TD Garden, among other things:

Best crowds: L.A., New York and Boston. “Avid, knowledgeable basketball fans.”

Trust me: there’s some really interesting stuff in that piece on Bavetta, so definitely check it out!
