The NBA has released the schedule for the ’14-’15 season and the Celtics will play their first game at home against the Brooklyn Nets (and Kevin Garnett) on October 29th. The Celtics will also host LeBron James and the Cavs on November 14th.
Here you can view the entire schedule.
The NBA has transitioned to more back-to-backs in order to give players a longer rest at the All-Star Break and the Celtics are certainly slated to feel the hurt next season. They’ll have 18 back-to-backs.
The longest West Coast trip for the Celtics will go from January 19-28 and consist of games against the Clippers, Trail Blazers, Nuggets, Warriors, Jazz, and Timberwolves.
18 games in March certainly jumps out as well. The Celtics will also play a game on New Years Eve day against the Kings, and as expected, will not play on Christmas.
The trade deadline is February 19th, right at the end of the break. The Celtics will play their final game before the deadline on the 11th.
The season is fast-approaching!
