Boston Celtics Daily Dish: May 2, 2014

Welcome to Friday, Boston Celtics fans!

I don’t know if any of you are big movie fans out there, but I know that my kids and I are super-excited to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which comes out today.   I’ve been a Spidey nerd since, uh, forever ago, so being able to enjoy my love of the web-crawler with my two boys

Now, let’s get to the basketball!

Three teams faced do-or-die situations last night . . . and all three survived, meaning we are in for a hell of a weekend!  Get your scores, recaps, and video highlights from last night’s NBA Playoffs action here.  [NBA.com]

Mr. Unreliable, eh?  Not so much last night, folks!  Check out how KD shed the tag last night in the Daily Dime.  [ESPN]

Was I the only one disappointed with Magic Johnson for Tweeting that he was glad to see Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni resign?  Apparently not, since this fellow ex-player had something to say about it.  [Sports Illustrated]

The bad thing about the offseason?  You’re going to have to read a lot of people discussing the same topics over . . and over . . . and over again.  Take for example this topic: should the Boston Celtics trade Jeff Green this summer?  [Bleacher Report]  You’re only going to hear this question asked 5,000 more times.

That’s all I have of interest today . . . for the Daily Links, that is!  Tune in for part two in my Boston Celtics Center Solutions series later today, though, and make sure you follow us @HoudiniCeltics for our musings and up-to-date Celtics news!
