Boston Celtics Daily Dish: April 29, 2014

Good morning, Boston Celtics fans!

Following today’s daily links, I will be finishing up two pieces that fans of the Celtics will definitely want to check out.  The first is a look at Rajon Rondo’s comeback season – did he live up to our expectations?  What can we expect from him moving forward? Meanwhile, the second piece looks at a potential free agent who could help the Celtics in the middle of the paint.  Make sure you come back later in the day to hear my thoughts on a Celtics team that has a very important offseason staring it in the face!

Now: the links!

R.I.P. Charlotte – you’re the first team out in the 2014 NBA Playoffs.  You had a good run, though – build on that!  [Bleacher Report]

Sorry if I jumped the gun – here are all of the scores, recaps and video highlights from last night’s playoffs action.  [NBA.com]

Stretch!  And go: your Morning Shootaround.  [NBA]

The number one seed in the Eastern Conference is on the brink of elimination – that’s where your Daily Dime opens its focus today.  [ESPN]

There’s been a lot of talk about Donald Sterling lately – rightly so, but also unfortunately so, since it takes the focus away from the Clippers.  Still, this is worth your time: what Jerryd Bayless, along with other members of the Celtics organization, thinks of the situation out in LA.  [Boston.com]

Also worth asking: how does Sterling’s idiocy affect the future of head coach Doc Rivers?  [Masslive.com]

Finally, here’s a look at nine options the Boston Celtics have in the up-coming “Top-Heavy” NBA Draft.  [Boston Herald]

Enjoy, and swing back for more Celtics coverage later today!
