Boston Celtics Daily Links: Saturday, March 22, 2014

Good morning, Boston Celtics fans!

For as long as I can remember, the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament has always been my favorite weekend in sports, especially the first two days.  Watching college hoops from noon until 1 in the morning – man, there’s nothing else like it in sports.

Still love the NBA, though, and to prove it, I give you today’s links!

It may not have been an “official” case of March Madness, but there was plenty of madness in the NBA last nate, including Kevin Durant’s epic 51-point, double overtime performance.  Get your scores, recaps, and video highlights over at NBA.com.

What a coincidence – the Morning Shootaround opens with a look at the OKC-Toronto game last night!

Sick of hearing about Parker-Wiggins-Randle-Embiid?  Then check out this list of prospects that sports writers will be paying close attention to during the tournament.  It’s organized by region, and while some of the big names pop up here and there, it mostly discusses some players who have not been the focus of much conversation so far. Who has the prettiest offense in the NBA?  [Grantland.com]  Well go on – click the link and find out!

I know we’ve spent a lot of time discussing tanking around the site, but I’d be all for modifying the NBA Draft Lottery in order to avoid late-season tanking among teams.  Here is one such proposal. [SB Nation]

And today’s Boston Celtics link of the day explores the question of whether Kelly Olynyk, among other Celtics players, should participate in the team’s summer league once again.  [Masslive.com]

Enjoy the hoops today!
