NBA Daily Links: Tuesday, March 11, 2014

Welcome to Tuesday, everyone!

It’s a Boston Celtics game night, which automatically makes it a little more interesting, right?  RIGHT?  That’s what I thought.  Don’t give up on the Celtics now – they have so much more losing to do!

Of course, the way the Pacers have been playing lately, and with Rajon Rondo looking more and more like himself every game . . . no!  They might win more games this season!

Okay – enough kidding around.  Let’s move on to the daily links!

Charlotte, Brooklyn, New York and Milwaukee all won last night?  That has to be a sign of the apocalypse!  See for yourself – get your scores, recaps, and video highlights here.  [NBA]

You know who didn’t win last night?  The Philadelphia 76ers, of course.  Know why?  Because they have mastered the 10 steps to tanking!  [Grantland]  Bill Simmons, you’re a genius.

Heads up – your Morning Shootaround is comin’ at ya! [NBA]

Followed by ten drops of NBA knowledge, your Daily Dime, which opens with a bit on the stellar play of Blake Griffin.  [ESPN]

The rookie class of 2013-2014 may not rival next year’s collection, but there are some good young players who came into the league this year.  If the 2013 NBA Draft could be redone . . . well, watch this video to see how this scenario plays out.  [Bleacher Report]

Uh oh, NBA (and Boston Celtics) fans – Joel Embiid, Kanasas’ freshman center who some experts actually had pegged as this year’s number-one draft pick, is down!  Man down!  Is this a sign of things to come?  [b/r]

And your Boston Celtics link of the day offers up a tantalizing possibility: a Rajon Rondo-Josh Smith pairing!  [b/r]  Interesting, indeed!
