Morning, NBA fans!

It was a bit of a crazy night in the NBA last night, as the ten games on the schedule provided all sorts of intrigue.  Tonight is only slightly-less busy, with eight games scheduled, but there are some juicy possibilities in store for us, so I hope you’re ready for the action!

Let’s start today’s link dumpage by getting you caught up on last night’s chaos: scores, recaps and video highlights!  [NBA.com]

Hope you have your feet up and resting comfortably – it’s time for your Morning Shootaround.  [NBA]

Well, the NBA trade deadline sure didn’t offer much in terms of actual excitement, but it did prove one thing: the battle for the NBA championship boils down to three teams this season.  [Sports Illustrated]

Of those three teams, it was the Indiana Pacers who made the loudest statement on deadline day: “We’re coming.”  [Sporting News]

Speaking of NBA trade excitement, just because there were no big trades that went down before the deadline doesn’t mean we won’t see some this summer.  Here’s a video that breaks down some big trades that still might take place in the NBA [Bleacher Report]

And your Boston Celtics link of the day provides some highlights of last night’s game call by Bill Simmons.  [Masslive.com]  Hey – I like Simmons, for the most part, and he sure did his best to make a fairly unimportant game sound important.

Thanks!
