NBA Fit promotes healthy living through three simple pillars: staying active, eating healthy, and playing together.  The NBA Fit website - http://www.nba.com/nbafit/ - provides fitness guidelines and workouts, nutritional advice and facts, and videos that are designed to educate and promote what it means to live a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the NBA FIT Live Healthy Week, there is a question-and-answer session with Bass – read it here.  He’s a man of few words, that Brandon Bass!

As a father of three kids, one who plays three sports and one who wants to be exactly like his older brother, I appreciate it when players like Bass take some time out of their already busy schedule to promote what it means to be a healthy athlete.  It’s a whole lot easier to convince my kid to eat fruits and vegetables when he sees and hears one of his favorite athletes endorsing those!

Thanks, Brandon Bass!
