NBA Daily Links: Still-Shopping Saturday Edition

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you are ready for some early-afternoon NBA action today, as the Boston Celtics host the Washington Wizard at 1 p.m. in the TD Garden.  It’s funny: both of the teams I cover for Fansided are in action today at the Garden: first, the Celtics, and then later tonight the Buffalo Sabres, who take on the Bruins at 7 p.m.

Why don’t I cover the Bruins, you ask?  Who cares – this is an NBA site!

Onto the links!

Nine games, eighteen teams in action last night.  That is a lot to get caught up on.  [NBA.com]

Enjoy your Morning Shootaround, too! [NBA]

Hindsight is 20/20, which is perfect for the writers over at Bleacher Report.  They have a knack for turning nothing into important-sounding nothing, such as this piece in which they re-do the 2013 NBA Draft. [b/r]  You go, guys!

With the calendar year coming to an end, the guys over at Point Forward discuss the best NBA moments of 2013.  [Sports Illustrated]

Call the police!  What LeBron James did to rookie Ben McLemore last night was illegal in all 50 states.  Watch the video – see for yourself.  [Dime]

Bad news for the Brooklyn Nets, who apparently have lost Brook Lopez for the year.  [Sporting News]  Good news for Boston, though, as Lopez terrorized them two weeks ago.

And now for you Boston Celtics read: seems the Celts enjoyed a little 5-on-5 scrimmage yesterday after practice, courtesy of Rajon Rondo himself.  [Masslive.com}  The closer he gets to returning, the more pumped I get!

Enjoy the reads, and stick with us today for our coverage of the Celtics-Wizards game!!
