Hello, fans of the Boston Celtics and all things NBA!

Gotta be honest with you: it was hard to go to sleep last night.  I watched the Celtics blow that game against the Milwaukee Bucks with my hands on my cheeks in utter disbelief.  I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, and long after the game was over I still couldn’t get my head around it.  Such a great first half of basketball . . . wasted.  Tough pill to swallow.

But I’m sure Brad Stevens will use it as a learning opportunity, and the players will us it as motivation for tomorrow’s tilt against the Detroit Pistons.  Meanwhile, the rest of us can try to forget about it by checking out today’s dose of NBA news and storylines!

There were thirteen games last night – a healthy does of hoops, for certain.  Here is what you should takeaway from the baker’s dozen worth of games we saw last night.  [Bleacher Report]

There are eight games on the schedule for tonight – get your previews here.  [NBA]  You have to be prepared, in my opinion.

Danny Ainge has gone on the record as saying that it was not him who told the press that his team would be tanking in order to land a high draft pick.  Michael Jordan also discusses his aversion to the idea of tanking in this piece.  [Sporting New]  Well, someone had to say it, boys!

Having trouble finding tracks for your warm-up playlist?  Dime magazine has you covered, with their ultimate 15-track warm-up playlist!  [Dime]

Finally: the good news about the Celtics right now?  The franchise is giving coach Brad Stevens the freedom to figure things out at his own pace. [Sports Illustrated]  I think this is exactly why Brad Stevens is going to figure this out and become a pretty damn good NBA coach.

Hope you enjoy the reads!
