I know that we’re all gearing up for the Boston Celtics’ first game of the season tonight, but for many of us, watching the Cs this year is going to be a bit of a love-hate ordeal.  Sure, we love our Celtics . . . but damn if we’re not ready to watch them struggle to keep from being the worst team in the East, or even worse, the entire league.  No one likes losing, even if it does land the team a draft pick next summer.

Still – there are plenty of positives to be had this season, which is why I have concocted this handy guide.  I have kept it brief, because I hate clicking through super-long slideshows (seriously, Bleacher Report – the top 100 players in the NBA had to be a slideshow?!?).

Not that some of us need them, but here are (in no particular order) five reasons we should all be excited to watch the Boston Celtics this season.
