NBA Trade Rumors: Rajon Rondo to the Milwaukee Bucks is a Thing again

Though the Celtics have adamantly stood by their stance of not wanting to deal Rajon Rondo, it seems that teams are still pursuing the Celtics’ star point guard. According to the Examiner, the Bucks have positioned themselves to acquire him.

They recently acquired Caron Butler from the Phoenix Suns. Butler is on an expiring $8 million deal and is certainly going to be used as trade bait. With Brandon Knight in the fold, Butler’s expiring deal and a slew of draft picks going forward, it seems to have started the Rajon Rondo trade train back up.

I don’t know if the Celtics are going to trade Rajon Rondo going forward or not. He’s coming off of an ACL surgery and no one knows if he’s going to play this season or not. It seems like he will, but nothing is for certain at this point.

What that means, though, is that there will be no trade anytime soon. Teams are going to want to see Rondo play before they make any move for him, so its probably best if we hold off on the trade rumors for just a bit longer.
