The Boston Celtics have invited former Iowa State Cyclone Chris Babb to training camp, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Babb played for two years at Iowa State after transferring from Penn State in 2010.

Babb is a wing player who has mainly made a name for himself by being a spot up shooter. Should he make the team, he could help with the Celtics’ spacing issues that they may have if he gets significant playing time.

Babb shot a career high 38% from beyond the arch in his final year at Iowa State. He scored 9.1 points per game and six of those points came from three point shots.

Babb’s invite comes after both DeShawn Sims and Kammron Taylor accept training camp invites from the Boston Celtics earlier in the week.
