The NBA has finally released the schedule for the season and it looks very exciting. The season will open on October 29th with three games. The Orlando Magic will play the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat will face the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Celtics open the season on the road on October 30th against the Toronto Raptors. The game will be at 7:00 pm.

For the important Celtic dates, they’ll face off against the Miami Heat on November 9th in Miami. Eleven of the Celtics first 20 games will be on the road. They’ll face seven playoff teams in their first 20 games as well. They’ll play the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks twice.

As for the Celtics playing the Brooklyn Nets, they’ll face the Nets for the first time in Brooklyn on December 10th. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry will make an appearance in the Garden on January 26th. This game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Doc Rivers will make a return to the Garden on December 11th. The Celtics will face the Clippers again on January 8th in Los Angeles.

The Celtics will have three nationally televised games on ESPN this season. They’ll be on NBA TV twice as well, but those aren’t really nationally televised games.
