NBA Trade Rumors: Houston Rockets will likely Deal Marcus Morris

It was just reported by Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld first reported. He said that Jonathan Feigan of the Houston Chronicle asked Rocket’s coach Kevin McHale why Marcus Morris was inactive tonight to which McHale responded “Talk to Daryl”.

That would mean that Marcus Morris is being dealt. Here are Kennedy’s tweets:

It looks like first blood has finally been drawn with just under 20 hours left to go until tomorrow’s trade deadline. This is the sixth trade in a row that Morey has done a deal within 24 hours of the trade deadline. The Rockets had a huge logjam at the powerforward position and were widely expected to move one of them. Terrence Jones had been made available for a first round pick just yesterday and it was widely expected that Patrick Patterson would be moved as well.

In the end, it looks like it will be Morris who is the one that will be moved. Details should emerge soon of who the team is that has dealt for Morris. When they do, we’ll be on it.
