All-Star Weekend: Dunk Contest Forecast

Later tonight  the NBA Slam Dunk Contest will begin. The competition is fierce this season–this has been pegged to be one of the better dunk contests we’ve seen in quite some time.

We have two former Slam Dunk Champions in Gerald Green and Jeremy Evans–last year’s winner. We’ve got two of the highest energy guys in the league in Eric Bledsoe and Kenneth Faried. We’ve got a rookie who can jump out of the gym in Terrence Ross and we’ve got a veteran who’s head gets above rim at will in James White.

Honestly, I can’t pick between any of them. They’re all great dunkers in their own right. If I had to pick, I would choose James White. This is White’s first dunk contest in the NBA, but in all others he’s been flat out dominant.
