Rajon Rondo May have suffered Possible ACL Tear

Hold your breath, cross your fingers guys.

Rajon Rondo was pronounced inactive for the game against the Miami Heat today because of a ‘hyperextended knee’, according to various reports.  ESPN reported that Rondo had tweaked the knee during Friday’s embarrassing loss to the Atlanta Hawks, even though he notched a triple double and played 45 minutes of action.

Now, there are various reports that Rondo may be suffering from a torn ACL. Celtics’ beat reporter, Mark Murphy, initially broke the news that there may be a possible ACL tear and then Yahoo! reporter Adrian Wojnarowski reported the same thing just minutes later via twitter.

Lets hope for the best, guys. Rajon is the Celtics’ catalyst for offense. Without him, who knows what things may be like. Nothing has been confirmed yet, so lets hold off on the “blow the team up” talk.
