Last year, one of my favorite past times between waiting for things to wrap up was to wait or ask for Dwight Howard to do Stan Van Gundy impersonations. His impersonations are uncanny. His favorite is/was his version of Shaq.
It’s funny how once someone wrongs you though, the things you once found silly and charming are now annoying, and no longer funny at all.
After being welcomed to L.A. by Lakers future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard took note and decided he’d have to do a Kobe impersonation at the press conference. While I am sure it was very good, you can see it here, I couldn’t laugh, and Dwight Howard is no longer a player I admire nor like at all.
He wronged Magic management, ownership, and fans, and still continues to smile as though it doesn’t matter. Good for you, Dwight, I hope your back is covered by Obamacare.
