New York Knicks Buyout Corey Brewer, Boston Bound?

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that sources have the chase for Corey Brewer narrowed down to the  San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics. All teams are viable options and would benefit from a player with an ability to play superior defense the way Corey Brewer can.

Brewer shockingly received a buyout from the Knicks today making him a free agent. Apparently, the Knicks had no room on their roster for players considered to be above average defenders.

We’ll see what tricks Celtic president Danny Ainge has left up his sleeve on this one. Brewer would make the C’s a much stronger team and is considered to be the last remaining piece to the banner 18 championship puzzle.
