Yesterdays Poll Results: “Rajon Rondo will have more assists than Lebron James.” He did, but in my book he didn’t have enough assists late to lead the Celtics.
Now I know it is early on, and he only has 2 games under his belt in a green uniform, but I already don’t like what I am seeing. I am getting the feeling Doc is afraid to insert Nate into the lineup at points in the game when the Celtics are slacking. If you ask me, when the team isn’t playing well they need a change on the floor. You would think that change would be a high energy guy like Nate Robinson (Afterall isn’t that why we got him?). When the team was struggling to find a way to score points, there sat Robinson on the bench just watching. In his first 2 games, he has seen 17 minutes, and 16 minutes respectively. A decent chunk of the 16 minutes against the Cavs, were when Cleveland had the game wrapped up. I don’t understand this philosophy about playing time, because when he came in early in the game, he put in 6 quick points.
Does Nate Robinson need to see more playing time in future games?
