Nate Robinson Debuts And Eddie House Returns Tonight!!!

I’m not going to lie to you… I am pumped for tonight’s Celtics game against the New York Knicks. Yes it is the New York Knicks but this game means so much more. For the first time ever we will be able to watch what Nate Robinson can do for the home team out  on the TD Garden floor. But wait, that’s not all. We will also be welcoming back our good friend Eddie House back to the Garden for the first time since his trade to New York a week ago.

So what is more exciting, Nate Robinson’s debut or Eddie House’s return? To be honest I’m not really sure, I am equally excited for both, although I do still wish Eddie was playing for the home team tonight. As far as Nate Robinson goes, Celtics fan everywhere will not want to miss a beat when he’s in the game. All eyes will be glued to Kryptonite to see whether or not this move is going to work out for Danny, and the Boston Celtics.

From what we can see here at Hardwood Houdini expectations are not high for Nate in his debut. In one of our recent daily poll’s fans believe he will score between 6-10 points during tonight’s game. This however was before we heard signs that Celtics forward Paul Pierce may not play in tonight’s game. This brings up a good question of whether or not Nate might get the starting nod in his debut. If he does I think we all can assume he will put in more than 6-10 points.

Now to the guy that will be wearing the blue and orange number fifty tonight, Eddie House. So far in his two games wearing a Knicks uniform Eddie has scored a total of 34 points, including a 24 point performance in his debut. Tonight Eddie will be feeling the pressure as he walks into his old home in front of fans that love him. Fans across Celtics nation seem to be unsure of what to expect from Eddie tonight. If our daily poll (which is still open) indicates anything, Eddie could drop anywhere from six to twenty plus points tonight.

So there you have it, the anticipation is there for tonight’s game that will tip off at 7pm. As for me, I am lucky enough to be attending the game and hope to bring some good insight back later tonight or tomorrow morning. Here’s to seeing some electric dunks from Nate and hearing “EDDIE, EDDIE, EDDIE” chants raining down onto the parquet floor… GO CELTICS!!!
