Yesterdays Poll Results: “The confidence level is increased somewhat by the Celtics performance against the Lakers. Fans are either still waiting for the team to get 100% healthy before getting too excited, or they felt good about our chances after showing we can compete with the Lakers.”
In the game against the Lakers, Rajon Rondo flat out led the Celtics back in the 2nd quarter. We have noticed this alot over the past 2 years that his play is really what drives this team. When he is a motor on the offensive end, there is great ball movement and the availability of open shots is unlimited. When he gets a little lax and starts to simply dribble the ball around the 3 point line, then things start to get a little difficult. As we all know, it seems like he individually has a switch that he turns on and off. Will he do that in the playoffs again this year? Well, I dont know. But, what I do know is that he has become a key part to this team. Just how big of an asset has he become, though?
Assuming everyone is healthy: Is the play of Rajon Rondo the determining factor to if the Celtics win Banner 18 this year?
