It is that time of the week, that time of the week when Travis and myself sit down to discuss the top ten teams in the National Basketball Association. These week there was quite a mix up throughout the standings. The teams up top stayed there for the most part part, but did flip-flop a little bit. Like every week we will give you a quick teaser here, but for the full rankings, and why we choose them, click here.
- Well, if it wasn’t for a tough loss against the Bobcats we may have been forced to put the Cavs at the top for the first time this year. Things did not happen that way and with the recent struggles the Celtics have had we had to keep the Lakers at the top spot for the third straight week.
- The middle of the standing flip-floped quite a bit this past week. The Portland Trail Blazers have quietly reached a season high in the standings at number five. The Spurs, Mavs, and Hawks swap positions within the middle of the standings.
- The Rockets and Thunder are the new comers in the rankings this week. This is the first time both teams have entered the top ten. The Rockets currently sit at nine while the Thunder wrap up the list at number ten.
Again, this is just a short preview of our full power rankings, to see the full rankings click here. Also make sure to check out Gino’s Jungle tomorrow for Matt Rury’s weekly rankings. Hope you enjoyed and we look foward to doing it again next week.
