Boston Celtics Sweet 16 prospect to monitor #4: Moses Moody

Moses Moody would be the perfect cost-efficient replacement for Evan Fournier this offseason, and if the Cs so much as had a chance of landing him, they should consider using Fournier in a sign-and-trade to generate a new traded player exception to replace the historic $28.5 million created from last winter’s Gordon Hayward sign-and-trade to Charlotte.

Moody is a long guard with dynamite scoring ability at the 2. He has been steady in two tournament performances against Colgate and Texas Tech but has the chance to dominate against #15 seed Oral Roberts tonight.

Boston Celtics Sweet 16 prospect to monitor #5: Corey Kispert

Truth be told, Corey Kispert could end up boosting his stock and nullifying any talk of slipping out of the lottery (HH is optimistic Boston won’t lose out of a playoff spot) but Ainge is creative enough to carve out a way to get any prospect he really wants.

At six-foot-seven, Kispert qualifies as a “shooter with size” and would fit perfectly between Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum on the wing. As the current Robin to Jalen Suggs’ Batman, Kispert has proven perfectly capable of handling a tertiary role in the offense.

Don’t be surprised to see the Cs make a play for the four-year senior in the leadup to the 2021 NBA Draft.
