Kaiser Gates

Kaiser Gates was forged from Steele at Xavier (because of head coach Travis Steele! Where are you all going?) and took on pretty quickly to the G-League level in his first professional season. While his shooting splits left a bit to be desired (33 percent from the 3-point line is borderline acceptable but 40 percent overall isn’t great), his overall impact on the game should have Danny Ainge considering bringing him aboard.

In 2019-20, the floodgates were open (I got all day, everyday folks) and the undrafted 2019 prospect dotted the stat line with 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal. After playing for the Boston Celtics last preseason, perhaps he can get more reps in with the pro team.

Sheldon Jeter

Sheldon Jeter hasn’t gotten too much of a chance to show what he can do, but in the 15 minutes he contributed nightly for the Maine Red Claws, he was able to flash a 37 percent conversion rate from the 3-point line.

While he didn’t exactly contribute much in the way of rebounds and assists, and practically no impact stats on the defensive end, Jeter limited his turnovers and looked like a player who could keep the ball moving on offense and also step out to hit a big shot from downtown if need be.
