3. Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings register as a solid trading partner with the Boston Celtics because of the sharp-shooting duo of Nemanja Bjelica and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Those two would represent a huge upgrade for a C’s bench that lacks reliable scoring outside of big-man Enes Kanter.

Bjelica would slot in as a small-ball center in some lineups, and would allow the Celtics to play bigger. Bogdanovic, on the other hand, would provide meaningful minutes in the second unit in lieu of Romeo Langford, who would seemingly be needed in a deal for either player.

Both Bjelica and Bogdanovic shoot above 38% from the field. Bjelica is the superior option from a floor-spacing perspective while Bogdanovic is a more well-rounded player.

Ideally, both would be attainable, but the Kings reportedly dealt Dewayne Dedmon to the Hawks to open up cap room for an extension for Bogdanovic.

Regardless, Bjelica is the perfect piece for a Boston Celtics roster that isn’t short on playmaking, but could certainly supplant their lineup with shooting.
