Happy Monday morning to all of you Boston Celtics fans out there!

I have to admit: I’m excited to be attempting my very first mock draft later on today.  Thousands of people around the world do this already, I know, but forget them: it’s me we’re talking about here.  Tune in later to see how I do.

Now, the links!

Two games last night, with two different results.  One series was squared up; the other has a team now on the brink.  Get your scores, recaps and video highlights at NBA.com to get caught up.

When the Los Angeles Clippers were down double-digits to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, I know you were all thinking the same thing Doc Rivers thought: put Chris Paul on Kevin Durant.  Ha!  Still, as the Daily Dime points out, that strategy worked.  [ESPN]

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the Brooklyn Nets look to event their series against the Miami Heat tonight, but in order to do so, the Nets will have to keep the Heat out of the paint.  [NBA.com]

I would prefer to ignore Donald Sterling for the rest of his life . . . but I have to share this article with you, in which Sterling explains why the comments he made were not entirely his fault.  [Bleacher Report]  Sure, pal.

If it means anything to you, the top three prospects have all decided to opt out of the NBA Draft combine.  [Masslive.com]   I’m not losing any sleep over it.

And I’ll leave you today with this interesting bit about how the Boston Celtics have pledged to acquire a true center during this offseason.  [Bleacher Report]  take it for it’s worth!

Thanks!
