Boston Celtics Daily Dish: May 1, 2014

Welcome to May, Boston Celtics fans!

We’re now less than a month away from the NBA Draft Lottery, and with the build-up to the lottery comes all sorts of prognostication, speculation, prediction, and other -ion words that will drive us crazy with possibilities!  Let’s just hope the luck of the Irish is with the Celtics this year, right?

Okay – let’s hit the links!

Three NBA playoff games last night ended with teams holding a 3-2 advantage.  Get your scores, recaps and video highlights to see which teams are in the driver’s seat, and which are on the brink of elimination.  []

Today’s Morning Shootaround begins with a look at who the Los Angeles Lakers should be looking at now that they officially are in need of a head coach.  [NBA] Mo’ money, mo’ problems.  Wah.

A surprise visit from an NBA Finals champion provides the first of your ten drops of NBA goodness in today’s Daily Dime.  [ESPN]

With Donald Sterling banned from the NBA for life, the hope is that he will eventually succumb to the pressure and sell the Los Angeles Clippers.  But to whom?  Here’s what one panel came up with!  [Sports Illustrated]

You know why mock drafts bother me?  Because the people who create them never just stick to what they wrote – they revise, revise, revise.  Take , for example, the Mock Draft Jeff Goodman has done over at ESPN – he’s already on version 2.0! []  Hey – at least he’ll be able to tell his readers, “I told you so,” right?

Just because the Sterling scandal is occurring way out in LA doesn’t mean the Boston Celtics don’t have an interest in what is taking place.  [Hoops Habit]

Finally, check out this video on some offseason moves that could move the Boston Celtics much, much closer to becoming NBA title contenders.  [Bleacher Report]

Enjoy, and check back in later as I continue my search for the next Boston Celtics’ starting center!
