Boston Celtics Daily Dish: April 23, 2014

Happy Hump Day, Boston Celtics fans!

The NBA Playoffs are heating up.  Since I have no real vested interest in who wins, this is a win-win for basketball fans like me.  If every series could go 6 or 7 games – oh baby!  I’d be a happy guy.

Let’s see what the daily dish can offer up today!

Three playoff games went down last night; get your scores, recaps and video highlights to see who is in control, and who is on the verge of getting KO’ed.  [NBA]

The Indiana Pacers have to feel like the weight of the world is off of their shoulder – for now.  Today’s Morning Shootaround opens up with a look at the number one seed in the East.  [NBA]

Hey, what a coincidence: today’s Daily Dime takes a peak at those pesky Pacers, too!  [ESPN]  Man, those guys sure must be important!

As a big University of Kentucky Fan, you know I was hoping that John Wall had a coming-out party in these playoffs.  He and Bradley Beal are doing exactly that – read all about this dynamic duo here.  [Sports Illustrated]

I love Greg Popovich – he IS the best coach in the NBA today.  However, could it be former Celtics coach Doc Rivers had a legitimate claim for the Coach of the Year Award this season?  [Bleacher Report]

Finally, check out who the Boston Celtics are drafting according to this latest mock draft.  [Masslive.com]
