Boston Celtics Daily Links: April 2, 2014

Welcome to Hump Day, Boston Celtics fans!

It’s hard to believe, but the Celtics’ 2013-2014 season is almost over.  Including tonight’s game in our nation’s capital, Boston only has eight games left until an offseason of uncertainly and great potential is upon Titletown.  I’m always sad to have to say good-bye to the Celtics temporarily, but watching the Cs this year has been frustrating, so I could use the break!

As I’m sure many of you can.

Okay: who wants some links, served up hot and fresh?  I do, I do!

A ton of games were played last night in the NBA!  If by ton you mean three, that is.  Get your scores, recaps and video highlights here.  [NBA.com]

He shoots, he clangs one off the iron!  Wouldn’t have happened if he had taken place in the Morning Shootaround.  [NBA]

No matter how good your team appears to be, the injury bug can strike anyone, at anytime, as today’s Daily Dime points out.  [ESPN]

Watch this video – be careful: it involves Steph Curry ripping the heart out of some Dallas Mavericks fan – and then wonder, why do people even bother defending him?!?  [SI.com]

I’m sure you already knew this, but here’s a look at the next HUGE market for the NBA to mine: India.  [Bleacher Report]  Yeah: I said India.

As the offseason approaches, here’s a look at five free agents the Boston Celtics should go after.  [Bleacher Report]

And finally, it’s something I have always believed, but it is good to hear it from a source who is a bit more reliable than I am: according to Doc Rivers, the Boston Celtics are a franchise that ALWAYS has a championship mindset, even in the down years.  [Masslive.com]  testify, Doc!

Enjoy, and be sure to tune into our coverage of tonight’s Celtics-Wizards game!
