Good morning, Hardwood Houdini readers!

After a night off, the Boston Celtics begin a back-to-back span tonight, when they take on the Denver Nuggets followed by the Los Angeles Clippers tomorrow.  I don’t know what I’m looking forward to more – the games, or the inevitable trade rumors and actual trades as the Celtics continue to drop down the ranks of the Eastern Conference.

Guess we’ll wait and see – but there’s no sense in waiting for the links any longer!

It was a quiet night in the NBA last night – only three games – and the games were not particularly close.  See what I mean here.  [NBA.com]

Here’s your Morning Shootaround, which discusses Andre Miller’s impending departure from Denver, among other things. [NBA.com]

Follow that up with your Daily Dime, ten drops of NBA goodness.  [ESPN]

Yesterday on Twitter, I asked

The name I heard the most?  Carmelo Anthony.  Lo and behold, here’s a piece on why the New York Knicks need to bite the bullet when it comes to ‘Melo.  [Bleacher Report]

Cleveland finally found a taker for Andrew Bynum in the Chicago Bulls.  Read about the “trade” here.  [b/r]

As a Boston Celtics fan, I understand that the Eastern Conference is weak.  The Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat are contenders, but who is the third-best team in the East?  [Sports Illustrated] It may not be who you think.

And your Boston Celtics daily link explores the totality of the Courtney Lee-for -Jerryd Bayless deal.  [Masslive.com]

Thanks for the read, and stay tuned for all of our game-day coverage,
