That’s the sound of optimism crashing down to earth for some of us overly-excitable Boston Celtics fan.  Losses on consecutive nights to the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Clippers have the Celtics at 10-14, with a mere 2.5 games in between Boston and the last place New York Knicks.  Not good.

But there’s still a lot of games left to play, and I’m sure coach Brad Stevens is cooking up a gameplan for tomorrow’s match-up with those last-place Knicks.  So, I’ll stop worrying and get on with the links!

You know who is pretty good?  Stephen Curry.  Check out his latest round of heroics from last night’s Golden State-Dallas game. [Dime Mag]  Yeah – he’s all right.

As a matter of fact, Curry is so good he continues to help the Warriors overcome some of their glaring flaws.  [Bleacher Report]

LeBron James said something that I found pretty interesting the other night - check it out and see if you agree. [Slam]

Here’s a piece by Ric Bucher on whether it’s the NBA’s fault that Dwight Howard has yet to become the next great Rockets Big Man.  [Bleacher Report]

And your Boston Celtics-specific link comes courtesy of Ian Thompsen, who details last night’s passing of the torch, if you will, between Doc Rivers and Brad Stevens.  [Sports Illustrated]

Thanks for the read!!!
