Celtics coach Doc Rivers had minor throat surgery yesterday, so it might have been a little quieter at practice today with Lawrence Frank running things.
Rivers was resting and should be back at practice tomorrow. Hopefully the Celtics (and, let’s face it, the refs) won’t give him too much to yell about next week when they open the season against Miami. But just in case, he might want to rest up those vocal chords the rest of the week.
