Paul Pierce Return - Daily Poll

Yesterdays Poll Results: “Kevin Garnett should not play a single minute in the All Star game so he can rest for games that matter.”

The update today was that Paul Pierce wouldn’t play in tonights game, which he didn’t, and also that he would sit out Friday nights game against the Nets. The report was that he may or may not be ready to play against the Magic this coming Sunday, and infact they may hold him off until after the All Star break. If he doesn’t play on Sunday, that only leaves 1 more game before the break, and that is in New Orleans on Wednesday. After that game, the Celtics do not play until the following Tuesday at the Kings. Pierce could get some extensive rest to make sure his foot is fine. At the same time he would miss 2 important games, games in which the team may need him. Keep in mind, though, that Pierce did not play in the Christmas Day game @Orlando, and the Celtics came away with a 9 point victory.
