Daily Poll – Kevin Garnett and His Fate

In an attempt to add new features to make Hardwood Houdini a more intriguing site to visit, we have tested out new ideas such as Player of the Week and Power Rankings, both of which have been accepted by the readers with great regards. Now we are going to do a test run on a daily poll that will be up every morning and throughout the day on the site for you to come in and respond with your opinion on the subject matter. The results from these polls will be kept and brought up further down the line when they apply to how the team is playing.

Yesterdays Poll Results: “Glen Davis was the right choice, and should have been in the game against Atlanta coming down the stretch.”

Since last years debacle with the Kevin Garnett issue, there is a huge black cloud that surrounds everything that comes from the mouths of the Celtics organization with regards to KG’s health. This year, first we heard he might miss one game, and if he did, he would surely miss atleast the next few. During that stretch we heard several opinions on when he would be back, and yesterday we were told anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks. Unfortunately this all sounds utterly similar to last years situation, which brings me to the question of:

Do you believe Kevin Garnett will be back in 10-14 days?

  • Hesitantly Optimistic (52%, 16 Votes)
  • Yes (26%, 8 Votes)
  • Not a chance (10%, 3 Votes)
  • I doubt it (6%, 2 Votes)
  • I plan for him to be out for the rest of the season and anything better is extra. (6%, 2 Votes)

Total Voters: 31

You gotta feel for KG, a guy with a warrior mentality, has to be killing him being out. The longer he is out though the more I wonder if he is going to get back and how effective will he be?

I know, and I hope this is nothing close to the situaton that occured last year. All I need to do is see him on the court for about 2 straight weeks, because as we know he made a go of it last year when he tried to come back.
