According to Boston Celtics PR, two players will be out for tomorrow’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers: Derrick White and Neemias Queta. Jayson Tatum also remains out as he continues to recover from his ruptured Achilles. White and Queta were both on the injury report heading into Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they ended up playing.
White is dealing with a right calf contusion, which will hold him out of Sunday night’s game. Meanwhile, Queta is still dealing with a sprained left ankle. He sprained it in the Celtics’ recent win over the Orlando Magic, and it caused him to miss their win over the Detroit Pistons, though he did play in Minnesota.
Jaylen Brown is nowhere to be found on the injury report.

White’s absence comes as a bit of surprise, as he was originally listed as probable to play in Saturday’s game, which he did end up appearing in. However, considering he was already dealing with something small, and Sunday will be the second night of a back-to-back, it is a good opportunity to get him some extra rest.
The same can be said for Queta, who is still dealing with the remnants of the ankle sprain he suffered against the Magic. That said, he put up career numbers against the Wolves on Saturday night, posting a 19-point, 18-rebound performance in the Celtics’ four-point loss.
Last time Queta missed a game (against the Pistons), Luka Garza started in his place. This will be the first game White has missed all season.
Brown was questionable to play in the Celtics’ game in Minnesota, yet he is no longer on the injury report. He was listed due to low back spasms.
Cleveland is dealing with quite a few injuries of their own. Jarrett Allen, Lonzo Ball, Sam Merrill, and Larry Nance Jr., all of whom are regular faces in the Cavs’ rotation, will miss Sunday’s game.
That still leaves Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Darius Garland for Boston to deal with, but it certainly makes things a bit easier on the injury-plagued Celtics starting lineup.
