After their big win over the Miami Heat on Monday night, the Boston Celtics will return home for a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. It will be Boston’s last game before the All-Star break, which will give most of the team some much-needed rest. But they can’t let that rest distract them from the new-look Spurs.

San Antonio made a big-swing move at the trade deadline, adding De’Aaron Fox in a blockbuster deal. Now, Fox and Victor Wembanyama are poised to lead the Spurs into the future alongside whoever they can snag in this year’s draft. The Spurs have been fighting for a playoff spot this year and are currently on the outside looking in of the Play-In Tournament.

Here is the Celtics injury report for their game against the Spurs on Wednesday, February 12.

Celtics injury report vs. Spurs on Wednesday, February 12

  • Jaylen Brown OUT (right knee swelling)
  • Torrey Craig AVAILABLE (right ankle return from injury reconditioning)
  • Jrue Holiday OUT (right shoulder impingement)
  • Xavier Tillman OUT (left knee inflammation)

Spurs injury report vs. Celtics on Wednesday, February 12

  • Charles Bassey OUT (knee)
  • Riley Minix OUT (torn labrum)

The Celtics’ injury report looks very similar to the one they headed into Monday night with, minus Jayson Tatum. The Celtics superstar was questionable to play but upgraded to available before dropping a 20-point third quarter in Boston’s win over the Heat.

Jaylen Brown is still on the injury report due to right knee swelling. He was questionable to play against the Heat and ended up being out, and he was once again listed with the same designation ahead of Wednesday’s affair. He's since been downgraded to out.

Similarly, Jrue Holiday is once again out. Wednesday night will mark his fourth-straight missed game as he continues to deal with a right shoulder impingement. Xavier Tillman is also out due to left knee inflammation.

That said, Torrey Craig, who has yet to make his Celtics debut, was upgraded from out to questionable ahead of Boston’s game against the Spurs. He’s listed on the report due to right ankle return from injury reconditioning. He's since been upgraded to available and could now make his Celtics debut on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, for San Antonio, Charles Bassey and two-way player Riley Minix are the only players out. Bassey is dealing with a knee issue, and Minix is recovering from a torn labrum.
