Draymond Green

No one else on this list guarantees an NBA championship like Draymond Green does.

The key defensive quarterback of the Golden State Warriors dynasty — which solidified its standing in history with their fourth championship in the last eight years by beating the Boston Celtics in June 2022 — still has the skillset to be the missing piece in Beantown to put the Cs over the top.

Green is still a triple-double threat on any given night, but his fit with the Warriors was put into question when he physically assaulted the player who will help bridge the gap between the twilight of Steph Curry’s career and the next area of professional basketball in the Bay. While he and Jordan Poole have seemingly put it behind them, there are legitimate chemistry questions moving forward given the public nature of the spat resulting from the film being released.

There may not be money for another Green max contract from Golden State either, considering Poole and Andrew Wiggins’ contract extensions and Klay Thompson’s own potential extension. If the Warriors need to part with someone, Green would be the odd man out. He’s already had to address rumors of him being dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers, so the idea of a a Green trade is already out there in the universe.

There’s few big swings quite like the man who was caught in the act of swinging at his teammate.
