Veteran target for the Boston Celtics No. 2) Goran Dragic

Of all the players that will be found on this list, Goran Dragic is easily the most likely to be dealt between now and February’s trade deadline and, while he wasn’t all that impressive during his five games played with the Raptors prior to taking his leave of absence from the ball club, his long history of production is reason enough for the Boston Celtics to be interested in targeting him.

A seasoned playmaker who can find the open man just as easily as he can knock down an open trey, the 35-year-old guard holds impressive career averages of 13.9 points, 4.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and a steal per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 36 percent shooting from deep.

Again, though his tenure in Toronto has been unbelievably underwhelming (eight points, 1.8 assists on 38 percent shooting from the field, albeit in just five games), the former All-Star is only a year removed from averaging 13.4 points and 4.4 assists per game on 37 percent shooting from beyond the arc whilst predominantly coming off the pine.

Assuming he’d come at a bare-minimum cost, the idea of bringing on a veteran like Dragic could be worth considering for a Cs team looking for more consistency and that is in need of some extra veteran presences.
