Boston Celtics stud #1: Jayson Tatum

Before the Houdini continues, we’re going to bend the rules a bit here. While my co-editor Mark Nilon likes to focus on one singular standout each game, I couldn’t help but dole the label out to several Cs. 145 points scored calls for it if you ask me.

The first stud is Jayson Tatum, who lived up to the superstar label and then some on Saturday night. Tatum scored the ball efficiently, shooting 9/17 overall, 4/6 from the 3-point line, and even 9/10 from the free-throw line.

He also added 10 rebounds and four assists and owned the second highest on-court plus/minus in the starting lineup on the night.

Boston Celtics stud #2: Dennis Schroder

Perhaps with his finest effort in green, Dennis Schroder tied the team-high (+29) BPM to go along with 31 points of his own on an even more efficient 10/16 shooting night overall, 5/7 from the 3-point line, and a perfect 6/6 from the free-throw line.

The German floor general added eight assists and four rebounds to the effort.

Boston Celtics stud #3: Enes Freedom

Let Freedom reign. Enes Freedom was a monster off the bench, scoring nine points and grabbing 15 rebounds, five of which were second chances on the offensive glass.

Feedom has been reinvigorated since his name-change and outspoken call-outs of LeBron James and Nike. Keep it going, Enes!
