Though the Boston Celtics may find themselves heading in the right direction, what with the fact that they now boast a plus-.500 record despite having an unbelievably underwhelming and loss-filled start to the season, it’s still quite evident that they have plenty of work still left to be done in order to get to where they wish to be.

A prime example of this aforementioned claim came during their Wednesday night outing against conference rival, and current kings of the East, the Brooklyn Nets where the Cs were absolutely walloped, losing the matchup by a final score of 123-104.

Now, while the shamrocks do, in fact, have a solid amount of talent found within their rotation, frankly, it doesn’t appear to be enough when they find themselves squaring off against some of the league’s contenders and top teams that they ultimately wish to be placed into the same conversation as.

With squads boasting dynamic duos like Kevin Durant and James Harden with the Nets and terrifying trios like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday in Milwaukee, rolling out a rotation with as much talent as possible should be at the top of the C’s to-do list.

Because of this, it is the belief of many that Brad Stevens and co. should strongly consider making some trades in an effort to better bolster the talent pool found on the roster and when looking at their Friday-night opponent in the Spurs, there are a few players that we believe could make for some quality trade targets.
