What we need to see from Boston Celtics No. 3) Another great performance by Aaron Nesmith

Coming into this campaign, the hype surrounding second-year wing Aaron Nesmith has been rather captivating, and his production throughout the preseason has only inflated the high hopes that Boston Celtics fans have.

Just this past game, the 21-year-old put on an absolute clinic against the Orlando Magic, putting up 23 points, four assists, three boards, and a steal on an impressive 50 percent shooting from both the floor and from deep.

Throughout all three games, the 2020 lottery selection has been averaging 12.7 points and 2.3 rebounds on 56 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent shooting from deep.

Showing off his unbelievably efficient catch-and-shoot form, sound step-back jumper, and solid handles Nesmith seemingly has found a way to improve as an all-around scorer this offseason and, heading into the regular season, many are hoping that he can continues this level of play to ensure Boston has a quality offensive running mate to roll with Dennis Schroder in the second unit.

Before fans can find ourselves being overly confident that he’ll actually wind up delivering heading into October 20th’s tip-off and beyond, however, they have to see another stellar performance from the youngster in the C’s preseason finale.
