Free agent target from the Los Angeles Clippers: Reggie Jackson

If you have been watching the Los Angeles Clippers play basketball this season, you know exactly why Reggie Jackson is on this list. He’s been an absolute stud for them offensively and has continued to show off his ability as a playmaker. I

n the playoffs, he’s been lights out!

Jackson started out in Oklahoma City where he saw some individual success late in his tenure there but then was traded to the Detroit Pistons. In Detroit, he continued to improve but it was all for nothing because the team was never able to win any games.

When he arrived in Los Angeles, he was forced to take a step back offensively and focus more on being a facilitator rather than a scorer.

His first full season with the Clippers was a success. He turned it on late in the season and has reached new heights during LA’s 2020 playoff run.

With the absence of Kawhi Leonard and/or Paul George at some points during their run, he’s been able to take the offense on his back and help lead them to some much needed wins.

Averaging 17.1 points during this year’s playoffs on 50.6 percent shooting from the field and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc, Jackson has elevated his play significantly and will have quite a few teams vying for his services once the season is over.

The 31-year-old has shown that he’s still a quality starting point guard or two guard which could greatly benefit the Boston Celtics. He’d be a good starter for the team now that Kemba Walker has departed or he could be one of the best sixth-men in the NBA should he come off the bench.
